Fly Assistant Main Menu.

From this screen you can access, Articles, Inventory,  Fly Patterns, Insect Information, Fish Logs with expenses, River/Lake Logs, Orders, Receive Orders, Host Swaps, Be in a Swap, and enter Phone information.

Fly Assistant allows you to customize it's look by changing 'color themes', so if you don't like the way it looks you can change it.

Browse Screen for Fly Tying Materials.

From this screen you can access all your fly tying materials, all your fly boxes, you could even inventory everything in your house if you wanted to. Items are organized in Groups. You could group all your hooks together or everything in one room of the house, the possibilities are wide open!

There are two screens you can pick from to browse fly tying materials.

Entry of Fly Fishing Inventory  

Items are put into groups so you can organize the inventory. You can also add a location inside the group. Like Garage closet 1, then Bottom right shelf. You can enter cost, size, date purchased, and more. 

 You can attach a picture to the item if you want. 

You can enter title, search word, publication, location, page #, date, URL and notes about the article. If it's on the internet and you paste in the URL you can click on the screen and it will open your browser and take you to the web article.

If it's a magazine you stored somewhere enter the location into the program and when you want it you'll know where to look. 

Fly Pattern Entry Form

From this screen you can enter all the standard fly tying materials used and a picture of the fly.

You can also enter instructions on how to tie the fly.

After this is done you can print the pattern with instructions, or email it to a friend.

Insect Browse Ties Into Fly Patterns

From here you can see information about any number of insects. You can reference fly patterns to each insect for future use. You can add your own pictures of insects although we do ship several with the program.  

You can email or print Insect information.

You can enter as much information as you want about multiple fish, land locations, GPS, size, weight, presentation, water conditions, and notes. 

You can attach pictures.

You enter items you want to order by Vendor. The cost of the order and detail of all the items will be stored for you. When the order comes in you can receive items right into inventory.
