This group of flies are the product of the
Invention fly swap #1 I held on flytyingforum.com
11 Flies in all. Started 3/30/06 and finished 5/30/06. This was an
adventurous group of swappers that joined a fly swap to tie fly
patterns that
they had added their own touch to.
The concept of this fly swap was to make a fly
pattern that was nothing you had seen from anywhere else before.
Therefore you had 'invented' the fly pattern. This didn't mean to
needed to tie a birthday cake on a hook, just make the fly pattern
your own. I think, and I'm sure you'll agree, that everyone did
just that.
