"I have been in fly fishing since 1993.  Over that time you gain a lot of material, equipment etc.  The only way to really know what you have is to go through it all, and when you are done you are just as confused as when you started. 

I belong to an on line group called flytyingforum.com.  That is where I had gotten your link from.  One of the guys was raving about this software.  I have tried many kinds of fly fishing/tying software and never found one that I liked enough to buy.  Every one of them was lacking is some area or another.  Most of them were just plain hard to use, or didn't make much sense.  I figured what's the harm in checking one more out. 

One thing that got me right away is, a "free trial period" to try it out.  Ok, if a product isn't worth that much, or set up right, you would not give the customer time to find that out.  So I gave it a try.  I am still blown away by how easy this software is to work, and navigate through.  You can add pictures for everything at the click of a button.  There are tabs for everything you need to do.  Flys, bugs, trips, inventory, how much you spent on trips, the logs for these trips, water conditions etc.  I could go on and on.  I am now on my way to having everything I own for tying and fishing inventoried and in the system with very little effort.  The most effort I put into it is taking the pictures. 

One of my favorite things about this program is you can do a step by step tying tutorial complete with as many pictures as you want for every step.  In my opinion this product is money well spent.  When I'm ready to go to the fly shop now, I can bring up my list of material, find the ones that are at 20% or less remaining and print it out.  That saves me money by not buying things I already have plenty of.  Oh yeah, you can keep track of how much of an item you have left in %, very nice feature. 

You can tell there was a lot of thought and hard work put into this product.  One last thing, the support is awesome.  Call the number, there is always a voice on the other end eager to help out.  They will not stop until it is correct.  That is the way business should be handled.
